Biography

Kevin Murray is a partner at Chapman and Cutler LLP, he has successfully represented a large variety of private and public clients on a broad range of matters with energy, mining, manufacturing, and other industrial facility siting, permitting, and compliance issues. He regularly assists in the merger, acquisition and development of energy, mining, and land development assets. He has played industry-leading roles in the acquisition, management, and redevelopment of environmentally sensitive properties, including dozens of NPL-listed Superfund sites and a variety of other listed and non-listed brownfields properties. He has led private and municipal efforts leading to the redevelopment of thousands of acres of properties that now support residential, industrial, commercial, and recreational uses.

Mr. Murray is an Adjunct Professor of Law at both Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, teaching course in real estate transfer, finance and development. A Cum Laude graduate of BYU, Mr. Murray has or currently serves on the Lakeview Hospital Board, J Reuben Clark Law School, Alumni Board, Utah Solid and Hazardous Waste Control Board, the Davis Education Foundation, and Pioneer Theatre Company Board of Trustees.
