Biography
LeGrand R. Curtis, Jr. teaches classes in Civil Trial Practice. He is a founding member of the firm of Manning Curtis Bradshaw & Bednar LLC., where his practice emphasizes various aspects of commercial litigation and commercial transactions. He has extensive experience in federal and state courts in commercial and other civil litigation. He has represented clients in various trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the Utah State Bar from 2002 to 2008, serving as Chair in 2004 and 2005. A 1978 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, he was a Senior Judge in the school's Writing and Advocacy Program. In addition to teaching at BYU, Mr. Curtis also lectures on litigation topics at various professional seminars and conferences.
